"I started this company about a decade ago after working as a general and orthopedic surgeon for 15 years in various reputed hospitals in India, Nepal and UK. I came to realize that medical science has not come to maturity yet and is changing at a very fast pace driven by the infusion of new technologies. As a matter of fact, the medical techniques are going though a sea change due to our ever increasing engineering and technological knowledge base and its application in the areas of medical sciences which in turn necessitates that we change our equipment and instruments every couple of years to incorporate change in design to offer more and more efficient surgical facilities rather than run the risk of becoming technologically obsolete.

As an example, I felt that traditional techniques of operating on patients with supracondylar fractured femur is not optimal as it cause post operative complications in many cases. It made me think and thus we came up with the design of MILC Plate for supracondylar fractured femur which incorporates the concept of minimal invasive technique and hence reducing post -operative complications. I not only thought in terms of design but also the cost and ownership aspect of orthopedics surgery! There are so many different types of interlocking implants are available but each one requires its own unique instrument sets to operate. Do we really need these many different instrument sets or is there any possibility to reduce the number of them while providing the same or better services? With this question in mind we came up with the design of a master inter-locking for all the lower limb which greatly reduces the overall cost of ownership for the hospitals and doctors and makes the inventory management for them easier."
